BERLIN - day one, part one

I'm going to upload my Berlin photos in batches of about ten, so that each post won't be too image-heavy.

OK SO. I hardly managed to sleep at all the night before take-off, and had to get up at half past four. That was interesting! The flight took off half past seven, before the sun had risen over Arlanda; above the clouds, however, it looked like this.

We arrived Tegel about nine, and around ten we had checked into our hotel and was on our way to Museuminsel (the area with ALL THE MUSEUMS). I didn't actually take any photos of my room; it was small but cozy and there were tons of mirrors, everywhere.

Berlinerdom! The cathedral. More of it later.

A bit of the facade of Altes Museum. We didn't go there the first day, though.

Rargh nom nom

The (modern) stoa behind Altes Museum. Here, on the second day, a street musician played Paganini. That was awesome.

Berlinerdom, the stoa and some tourists.
