Our main stop, the first day, was Pergamonmuseum in which, as the name implies, the Pergamon altar, a totally sweet hellenistic monument, is located. Unfortunately I brought the wrong lens - the zoomy one - so my equipment didn't allow me to take any photos of the entire monument. But this is what the entire thing looks like.

The most awesome thing about this monument is the frieze anyway. It depicts a gigantomachy, a battle between gods and giants. Here's Athena.
